@sterven I really do want crow, they pretty independent animal and omnivore at that. I think they make a great pet as they also smart
Unfortunately crow rather rare in these part, probably because superstition about them and death. I never seen one in my city

Also even if I ever get a crow pet or any animal even I'm not confident can keep it alive. I'm not exactly smart guy who know how to keep things alive

Honestly it's not hard at all the 2 I picked up are from work 
like you said they are pretty smart so training them is not really a hassle they'll remember you and if you keep feeding them and earning their trust you'll have them perching up on you in no time it took me about 2 months with full grown wild crows (at work mind you) so if you actually dedicate some time it should take less especially if it's a juvenile as for the superstition I got nicknamed brujo which means a male witch in Spanish
