Somehow I'm managing to keep cool but yes, there's a hot stream from the Sahara all the way to the north so I guess it's also reaching you as well, one of the worse June here. Can you still breath there with all the pollution?
Same here since nearly a week, so it's normal : if France is suffering, you should too. I hate it, because i'm sweating so much i could leave a human-shaped snail's trace behind me. Also, more seriously, it's more and more common every year, and it happen earlier.
Just looked at a map of current temps in Europe, and yeah, that stinks. At least your humidity is decent. Here we're expecting 35-37C this weekend into Monday, but the dewpoint's going to be pegged well over 20 (and hence the overnight lows will be above that), which I am really not looking forward to.
In France, now, it's 30°c at 18 h 30. So it's quite hot, even for the season. Not an heat wave yet, but you can't sleep at night and you better not do any physical activity.
Hard to answer, since the last 10 years have been exceptional. Humidity here varies depending the area, where I live it's really dry so it is not an issue here, but in many big cities it's like 70% or more all year around. June should not have this hot weather, and yet some places have reached already the 40ºC and during the night those same places have like lows of 25ºC this week. Today we had here like 19ºC-34ºC.
