The finale of Demon Slayer was kinda meh, so can't be surprised that the movie covering it is too. Overall, it was just a shounen with good art and good characters, but the overall plot, especially the final resolution wasn't anything special. A fun case of the author just rushing their work to the end, probably because they didn't really know how to end it either. At the very least it ended, unlike some other mangas...
If the anime wasn't still on-going and the normie-sphere always gushing about it, I'd probably have already forgotten that it existed.

Nearly all shonens end up like that, after all. Great start, then a progressive decay until a lame end. Such is life, normies will learn that lesson someday. Let them be hyped, it's better when they fall from an high place, it hurt more !

It's always kinda mid the story

Sure it's have a little gore here and there, but it's kinds boring now everyone literally everyone need a flashback. The first part on Rui's backstory it's kind nice but after that i don't really care about backstory anymore

It's literally about someone who wants to revenge so yeah, the story is meh. Revengeful is meh.

I mean I would argue even the start of demon slayer was meh. I don’t know why I even posted most mainstream normie anime is always meh. And when my good stuff goes mainstream stream it turns down all the stuff that made it amazing T-T

The longer you are in this hobby, the more bad adaptions you suffer through, until you just stop watching anime.
