It was because of the "greatful for being able to attend uni" that you probably wanted to make money quicker. And well, something in between those two is sociology, psychology, criminology, pedagogy, journalism (well, not quite), political science and teaching stuff (yes, I'm not going to include anthropology). If I had to pick one... I guess sociology?
