It's basically the same edge farming type of manga as "Juujika no Rokunin", but it became a hit with the kids instead of becoming a mockery.

To be honest, this applies to a lot of popular anime nowadays. A lot of unnecessery hype.

If it's the first edgy manga those kids have read, it's kind of normal. I don't remember the proverb about a fish in a barrel, but you have the idea.

I've never read Chainsaw Man, i doubt i will, but i've read some stuff from the same author and it was just cringe and vulgar.

Even solo leveling, or JJK doesn't glaze the mangaka like this, it's so bad to the point they thought Fujimoto assistant are his student, while in fact the relationship more of colleague.

It kind made me furious, how they make it as if those manga have no value and the only value is the mangaka popular because Fujimoto.

To those people, remind them the author of CSM was responsible for Fire Punch. And Fire Punch was fine/good for the first 4 tomes, even if way too much edgy-maxing in a strange way, but greatly failed at everything after. I can't forgive him for that. Yes, i just discovered a few hours ago that it was him. Sometimes, previous works tells you a lot about an author. And when your previous works had his time and was thrown into oblivious for decades, it's not for nothing.

Nah they think fire punch is good manga, they like it

Can't argue with fanatic. remember seeing them praising Fire Punch, I've read it long time ago and all it fall apart after some time.

Also @UnnamedPlayer in the first place if they have a bit of critical thinking they wouldn't be glazing him like this.
