Except that's just something the yuri friend makes up as a fanfic in the end, before going on a date with a cute girl. Except the cute girl is just a trap, which makes her discover that she was Bi the entire time and then gets brat corrected afterwards.

You're completely missing the point however. Anyways, you don't need "romance" or "chemistry" to create yuri, in fact you don't even need them to be together. There are things you can only know if you read a certain genre, reading the comments is pointless.
