You probably hit the character limit like I did. Your best bet is probably making a thread in the lounge. But small warning, you can only edit a post/thread on the forums for 3 months, so you'll need to make multiple posts in the future.
And even threads have character count, but it's way larger compared to profile posts and the about section.

If you're using MangaDex links you can omit the part after the ID in the url.
It's not much but should save you a few characters
Example:

Just do like me and turn it into a MD list... then link it.

I heard there's a bug that can delete MDlist if you edit it, watch out for that @Manko-sensei.
