If given the choice between pecan pie or strawberry cheesecake, which do you choose.

@Data_Gold without any more context? cake. it's way more versatile than pie. pie is basically just limited to fruit but cakes can have layers, frosting, a shitton of sizes ... you could extend cakes to even, like, ice cream cake. cookie cake. and that's basically a new food entirely

if you consider "pizza pie" to be a valid lumping under the pie label, then ehhhh i don't know. pizza probably bumps pie ahead of cakes
