I wouldn't get too worked up about... 90%? of the posters in that thread. They expect the principals of this site to assume legal and financial risk in the name of their concept of 'free speech' ('say anything I want without consequences', which isn't how free speech actually works) without risking any legal or financial harm themselves, so I would suggest that means their opinions should carry a similar amount of (non-)weight.
