Paying or getting paid for?

I wanna get paid to draw something, like I wanna test if my drawing skills are well enough to be profitable.

What would be your commission rates?

Step 1: Make a Twitter/X account to post your art there to make people notice your art.
Step 2: Get involved in drama as you get more famous.
Step 3: ?????
Step 4: $Profit$

@BakedBanana Eh, not much. I'll start with the meager amount of $100. Keeping it low since I'm not really the best artist out there. I wanna keep it pocket friendly.☺️☺️



Prolly, 5-10 dollars

On a more serious note, having people online notice your art in some way or another surely won't hurt. Though there is sadly a little bit of luck involved, but trying doesn't hurt.
Perhaps working together with a decently famous content creator could help too?

I couldn't tell you for sure, but I'd probably pay at least 15 dollars for that kind of art style and detail. Maybe try checking other artist profiles and cross-reference their commission prices with how much effort they put into it?

I heard it's good to price your art based on the minimum liveable wage in your area and how long you take to finish a drawing on average.
Though I don't have any experience with this

Thanks guys, any insight on this is a helpful insight for me. Anyways, it looks like I don't need to come down to scanlate stuff to earn money for my sick mother and get donations.
