Panzerkampfwagyu consists of:
"Panzer": Tank in the context, but replacable with terms mearning armour, both metal and natural
"-kampf-": fighting related stuff
"Wagyu": The high quality beef of Japan
I think the problem with this attempt is that the name itself is already plenty silly, so trying to outsilly it with a nickname is a very hard thing to do.

Sounds normal to me. I am not exactly familiar with the language, though.

The part that makes it silly is the Wagyu, that wouldn't normally be there, as it replaces the -wagen in Panzerkampfwagen.
