It's really not hard to make them utterly reprehensible monsters without exagerration.
A lot of them casually destroy souls for pretty minor things, ffs.

If you cut out the edge lord part (and close one or two eyes), this might perhaps fit the bill. Granted, the local populace has to endure much more than just tantrums and it is more from the perspective of an isekaiee who integrated with the locals but see if it fits your bill. (Why do the updates have to be so slow)

@a_singular_strike the ones in that they are the antagonist type and do antagonist crimes, so it doesn't break out of the genre, not that it's trying for that in the first place. The POV character being an isekaiee also wouldn’t work with the idea, as the non-reincarnated perspective is important for the horror part.
