they have living tissue and most notably intestines... are they being fed offscreen? are the cables delivering nutrients instead of electricity?

how does the very clearly mechanical cockpit work?? is it just a placebo that makes the pilot think they're moving a robot when it's actually just entirely their mental/soul/whatever link?

it's such a cool concept to think about and neither the show or any spinoffs i've seen have really dove into it

Wasn't it some mumbo jumbo about them somehow being made from their moms?

@Mangamoz if i remember correctly the bodies are physical copies from adam (though 01 i believe is lilith?) and then they also house human souls which allow pilot synchronization
