@Angry_Panda Trunks travelled to the wrong universe, and then helps Shinji fight the evas with his saiyan powers. And in the process, they end up getting to know each other. And Shinji gets to know Trunks muscles too. Then Kaworu gets mad that Trunks ruined all his cunning pretty boy schemes went down the drain cause some buffed up superhero just punched away all of the monsters.

@Angry_Panda Then after some tender bonding, Trunk's love that he gave Shinji, gives him be ability to become a pseudo-Super Saiyan, and then they fuse to create Shrunks. Then Cyber Freeza appears from a Dbz reality where he took that Trunk's time travel machine, and Freeza teams up with Kaworu as the big bads.

@Angry_Panda Meanwhile as Shinj/Trunks are fighting Freeza and Kaworu, Gendo learns that dinosaurs still exist in the Dbz universe, so he theorizes that 1st impact must have happened differently on that world. He learns of the existence of the dragon balls, and schemes to gather them to revive Yui for real.

@Angry_Panda But when Gendo gathers the dragon balls, he discovers that Shenron, is reclassified as an angel by the laws or the Eva universe, so Shenron's arrival instead kickstarts an alternate Impact event that threatens to erase both the eva universe and the dbz universe. To stop it, all of the heroes and villains band together to combat Eva Shenron, and with the guidence of Yui's soul, Gendo finally reconciles with Shinji, and helps him and his crew defeat Eva Shenron.

@Angry_Panda At the end, Gendo and Shinji share a father and son moment by Yui's grave at last. The dbz characters though must return to their universe, or the realities will keep falling apart. Trunks and Shinji share one bittersweet final goodbye. Freeza returns simply out of his usual selfish desire for self-preservation, and since there was nothing for him to gain from the Eva universe. But not before offering Kaworu a post on his army, but Kaworu rejects it.

And in the process, they end up getting to know each other. And Shinji gets to
know Trunks muscles too.

@Mangamoz Did you give this summary from the top of your head? How long has it been since you wrote the fan fiction? I'm amazed by the level of detail.

@gimme_yuri_plz Yes I did legit write this many years ago, I was doing a short censored summary for the thread, since it is a multi chapter fanfiction originally.

@Mangamoz either you deleted it, tagged it wrong, or you're making shit up because there's not a single fic on the site that has shinji and trunks in the same chapter
