Finished narcissu 1 and it was alright. I could see myself enjoying it more if I was younger and more emotionally vulnerable. Like, “high schooler in the 2010s” vulnerable or something. I thought the pacing was good, though.

Maybe I’ll rewatch The Shining and Memories of Murder and write down some thoughts here. Wow, Parasite was released more than six years ago. Not that that’s a particularly long time ago, but it reminded me that I used to watch movies.

I watched The Man from Earth a few days ago. I wonder why nobody asked him how many people he's killed, or how many people tried to kill him. The movie is asking for a lot of suspension of disbelief, but not necessarily in a bad way. It's pretty funny though that he just happened to randomly study under Buddha in an obscure location in India. Anyway, the movie was too straight and the acting was questionable, so 6.5/10. For reference, I rate the majority of things I choose to watch around a 6
