99% of isekais instantly ignore the fact that the protagonist isn't from the world within like 5 chapters so it's really just kinda unnecessary

Yeah I think the protagonist being an otherworlder should be a bigger deal. That's kinda what makes isekai like Tensura fun cause Rimuru defies all standards and logic by just being himself.
If the MC can be replaced by anyone who's like them then they're not interesting.
