This internship report actually is not that different from any scientific project report, but the difference is you solving someone problem (which is, the "someone" here is your corporation where you go intern). The project can be solved or not is not really the case, but the main thing the lecturer will giving attention is "does your solving method was a good application of your study?"

They will judge it academically so it won't really bothering if the solving method is failed as long as it well applying your study subject—and I failed here. I failed to apply my study subject well and I also admit it so yeah, just hope me the best for the revision hehe :3

"Actually, what are you working on in your project?"
I tried to built an OCR algorithm to extract key metadata from an official letter (such as reference numbers or subject lines) to make it easier while being saved on database. But, my fault is: I built a predictive model using synthetic imgs, but tested it on real imgs. According to my lecturer, "You’re not fair, buddy. You’re training it on a synthetic dataset but expecting good results on real images? That’s like teaching your students 1+1 but testing them on algebraic equations. Of course the accuracy will drop drastically." So yeah

hmmm... can we see this as they know you can do more than that?
sometimes they want to push us more and more (sound sucks, yeah, but we can't do anything about it, they expect us to reach a certain perfect point). but please don't let this made you feel bad or anything. cheer up and chin up Evans!

Actually, I've bought my favorite ayam geprek near my campus that I can't buying regularly as before while this internship period so it help me boost my mood better. Anyway, yeah, maybe later I'll grab ice cream too so I can cooling off my brain hehe
