I got to emulate Bayonetta 2 on PC with CEMU using a Wii U file from Internet Archive.
One of the rare times where I don’t feel guilty about piracy. Just kidding, I’ve been sailing the high seas for my whole life. Not because I hate artists and developers, but because of availability. I will never touch a console.
I finished FataMoru. Absolute kamige; one-of-a-kind and among the best in the visual novel medium or whatever. Some great English prose for a translated visual novel. Unfortunately, I cannot read complex Japanese texts and so I am stuck using LunaTranslator and LLMs for untranslated games. I tend to get bothered by a lot of visual novel writing tropes and how long most of them drag on, but Fata Morgana managed to keep my attention most of the way through.
It’s not perfect (Yukimasa door lmao), but avoids a lot of hard-to-define things that I dislike. If anything, it was worth finishing just to understand this vndb thread rating it a 1/10.
Re: "I used to be a janitor, and one night I was driving the big floor cleaner while listening to my iPod. Everything was fine until I realized I had closed my eyes listening to Space Lion and drove the floor cleaner straight into a wall.” I listened to Space Lion a while ago, and I was [...], but I somehow forgot to. The track is really good, and it was hard to find another track that would transition well into it and out of it.
Been playing OSRS while launching applications into the void. I have two or three semesters left until I finish my bachelor's. Dunno if I want to get a master’s. I’ve never been well-off or lived in poverty, but I don’t really spend money on anything except food. Luckily and unluckily, my culture and area means I will probably [...], even if I have a higher income than them. I haven’t had sex in years, but whenever I did, I’d leave the house most of the time since people were home and it was awkward.
I’m thankful I don’t have to shoulder the crippling debts of med school, but being a depressed unemployed engineering student is only marginally better than being a depressed (and probably unemployed) med student. Maybe I should’ve become an artist and offed myself 20 years ago or something. I wonder if casual passive suicidal ideation mildly offends people who love life. I know I’d totally get pissed off if someone I knew kept venting to me about death as if I didn’t already have enough to think about. Although I’d also say I’m a somewhat selfish and hateful person. I’ve never been diagnosed!
