What's wrong with Linux? Had a bad experience?

Can't play videos anymore for whatever reason
tried everything, nothing worked
Should have installed Linux on a virtual machine rather than my main machine
But fuck it, I am too lazy to reinstall Windows
Also I am trying to learn Gimp, thought it was terrible at first but now that I am get the hang of it it isn't really that bad,
but it still much easier to remove objects on Photoshop, or at least I haven't found a way to easily remove object on Gimp yet.

Oof, I feel you on Gimp. I've been using it for awhile and I still find things confusing. :aquadrink:

But what exactly is your problem with removing objects? Shouldn't you be able to just click the individual layer on the right then right-click and delete layer?

I am not too sure why your videos won't play anymore, never happened to me. Maybe the OS you using, or a possible bug? Could look it up to fix it.

Honestly, just use a Virtual machine next time installing an OS instead of just doing it on your main first, stuff could go wrong. I have Linux + Windows for my computer.

I am surprised people still use gimp though, man, that thing is ANCIENT for me.

No, I am referring to the content-aware fill, it's just not great

It has something to do with gstreamer1-openh264. It says it's not installed, but it is. I installed it a second time and it still said it wasn't installed.
I will try to install Windows on VIrtualBox sometime.
I got meme'd into installing Linux as my main because I am learning programming and everyone said it is the best OS for programming.
People said Gimp is a good option to edit images on Linux, don't know if there anything better for Linux, quite honestly.

Might have to look up that one, cannot really say what the issue is caused by, I've never had that problem. Mine runs just fine, Maybe someone has a fix for it on reddit? Possibly someone encountered it before.

Damnn, not even my brother got meme'd into doing that, he considered it but stuck to windows cause it's easier for him to learn on there. Rip you my guy.

Also, I hope you had good luck using gimp, I don't know any other ones for Linux. I wouldn't know because I just use most of my programs for stuff on windows and gaming on Linux since more FPS.
