Says a lot about your IRL age if this was only your "first" panic attack.

You will never get used to it, welcome to life. :haa: (y)

My IRL age is 22, I'm old and wrinkly and, God willing, will see my 23rd bird-day in the 22nd of June next year

What type was it? Do you get depressive, or do you have the incredibly painful manic version like me?

I cry and fast breath, yet I just can't stop what I'm doing :D I'm like a functioning alcoholic of panic

I have seizures at the same time when I have a panic attack, as well as crying, hyperventilating, and also extremely high blood pressure, which is evident when I haven't had my meds and have to get them, because I get poked with a needle and spray lots of blood everywhere.

It sucks. The first time, I thought I was having a heart attack. I'm not high functioning when I have one, lol

The first time, I was sitting in the kitchen, about a year or two after my paternal grandpa died. I was somewhere around 13 or 14, and I just suddenly broke down. Last one was, I think, 8 months ago. I was doing perfectly fine, but we were on the highway behind a trucker, and the DEF exhaust from it suddenly triggered a panic attack, while I was on the way to see my therapist.

They are truly frightening experiences when they happen. The last time I had one was sometime last year, while just sitting with family. It's hard not to panic, but try to focus on controlling your breath, and clearing the mind...
It helps sometimes.

yeah I had to abstract myself and breathe deeply to calm down but in the end it ended up working fine
