@gimme_yuri_plz I believe the type of yuri fan that @panzerkampfwagyu is referring to when he says that we are annoying, are people like @Xh30 or @YotoHime for example , who are WAY too extreme on the yuri spectrum, to the point of becoming hostile to anything not 100% yuri.

I mean yeah, though GiYuPl should already know that.
Not that it will save the genre from the geneva checklist I'm enacting on it

As long as you keep it within the fictional yuri genre, and don't let IRL stuff dirty the conversation, it should be fine. Don't let the thread become LGBT thread 2.0. That was a bloodbath for so many of the oldies.

I mean, once I do the thread, there will be a heavy disclaimer about it being specifically about the yuri genre and any attempt to try to direct it at real people will be severely punished, result in exile and then be handed to the mods.

A thing I avoided for being too easy to drift off into actual homophobia was religious imaginery, I thought about making it a holy crusade, but it would be too connected to IRL Homophobes, so I chose "Glorious Quest" instead and went more mad science army with slapstick
