I like how she applied for a job in that Jaya store to fulfill her goal of winning in life because Jaya means victorious in my language (and I see it used frequently in store names too). Though I'm pretty sure that the author didn't know that beforehand.

@b4nji that nickname was only because of how Ritz would persuade various women to go to his harsh cold territory yearly. It didn't really reflect his personality or character in any way. He's always been a weak softie since the start.
