It's one thing to hate work or to want to enjoy a slow life, but so many of these types of novels have these characters with an anti-work mentality to such a degree that it becomes a complex. That's some crappy pathological issues. Who'd want that for their mc? At least it's not necessary to go...

Considering how long the novel is, it seems unnecessary to make these manhua chapters contain so little content.

Pretty sure the grandfather didn't acknowledge or give permission for their relationship at this point in the novel.

Progress seems fast because the manhua excludes all the author's babbling nonsense for dozens of chapters, and due to the extremely long and boring tournament arc I think he needed to pick up the pace to get back on track

I just read the mtl of the novel for this tournament arc, and it was so brutally long and boring. So much nonsense about unimportant side characters. That author needs a punch or two in the face.

I had only read the novel before the revised version came out, but his back story was very different. Although it was much more vague, it was implied that his life was much more harsh and difficult, rather than the sad back story in this chapter. The difficulties of his past life were supposed...

What an awful chapter. Translation is poor, the chapter itself sucks and it's topped off with some garbage fourth wall breaking failed attempt at humor.
