If I remember correctly, in this world's setting, Talkers have an ability that can force confessions, right? (And something about how it's only legal to use on criminals.) Why aren't Talkers employed to use that ability for the justice system?

This seems to be turning into one of those Hallmark Christmas movies, with Asuka as the busy woman from the "big city" who reconnects with the down-to-earth hunky friend in a small town.

"Stark" can also mean "severe" or "clearly delineated" (e.g., "in stark contrast") in English. So saying "the numerical advantage ... was stark" works, though personally, I think it's a little awkward. Maybe "the numerical advantage ... was severe" or "the numerical advantage ... was extreme"...

I'm pretty sure you are correct. Maybe it's different in the WN/LN, but in the anime and manga, there's no indication that the goddess is wary of MC at all.

Yeah, and wasn't Rakshasa going around murdering (probably) innocent people to steal their life force? I feel sympathy for his kid self but not the monster he turned into.

Peeking at the raws, the great forest spirit's name is "ドリー" (do-ree), so "Dolly" is correct, though maybe "Dory" would be better. I'm not sure where "Ryah" came from. And the great water spirit's name is "ディーネ" (dee-neh), so "Dyne" is correct.

I believe "Rizou" (or "Rizur") is the name for those two-headed dog monsters in the wastelands. Makoto jump-kicked one to death when he saved Ema in chapter 2.

The author has spent so much time on Tsuchiya, but with the way everything resolved, it just makes Ban and all the other characters seem naive and stupid. I sincerely hope we never see/hear of that asshole again.

Yeah, it looked like the tutor guy's prior experiences with lazy colleagues colored his perception of the newbie -- who, admittedly, had a pretty defeatist attitude. Thankfully, Satou was around to help correct both of their mindsets.

If I recall correctly, in the game world's setting, Cain's background is that he was neglected/unloved by his parents. Even with the isekai-ed MC making a bunch of changes to the story, I guess the dad still kind of sucks. Maybe it's just that the manga can't afford to spend too many panels on...
