It was a pretty amazing moment in the novel, I'm not sure how well this compares, but it wasn't this short. It was okay I guess.

More made up stuff. In the novel, the reason the other teachers are pissed at Raniel is because they think she's slacking off. But in reality she already finished up all her work. Yeah she already had work and is a member of the staff already at this point in the story.

Raniel was supposed to have a cool entrance... The black tower master almost choked after he saw her real strength at the opening ceremony, which is completely skipped. Wasn't Raniel supposed to be cool? She's like half asleep here.

This adaptation is just making shit up as it goes. The princess doesn't have this anti mana ability, none of this HAPPENS. She was trying to solve the circuit and Raniel helped her out easily. It was a casual exchange in the novel. The way to solve the circuit was also explained in a neat way...

They basically skipped over the entire intro, and barely explained / wrongly explained what even happened in the novel. Wow, this is a horrendous start.

In the novel, I feel like it wasn't rushed at all. We spend quite a few chapters focusing on the events that led up to the him turning into a girl. Edit Wow the first chapter is a dumpster fire. Literally skipped everything that led up to the TS, and skips ahead.

Crying with their ass sticking out like that, phew.

I feel like there's a limit to how stupid you can write people, what are they even trying to do? Get her to join them, and then what? They aren't even on friendly terms with the girl.
