Y'all forgetting MC was being a douche too--he never treated them as fellow teammates, but as possessions. MC obviously has plot armor so it's a forgone conclusion that she made a "bad" choice not following him.

so i'm still kind of confused about him gaining control of the climate in the region. He found an ancient relic--what looked like a server room--and reprogrammed/debugged the region to have more rainfall? And we are just going to let that slide as if it's normal? Is he living in a simulation?
