If his fastballs spin with a standard backspin, shouldn't it be possible for him to adjust their spin to create the desired break, like actual breaking balls?

Bungo is doing the same mistake as Diamond no Ace by focusing way too much on the sidecharacters.

That scout is so dumb. Instead of telling Bungo to give up he should've just told him that there are much more impressive batters at Koshien and the pro leagues he could compete with if he just aims for that goal.

Bruh, you serious? At this point the random deaths just seem forced just to put some kind of tragedy into the manga. Same with Hikaris mom in H2. They never even explained why or how their previous marriage partners died. So stupid. Now the mom has 2 dead husbands and Touma is basically an orphan.

If you can't hit his pitches anyway just bunt and tire him out.

Can't say I feel bad about his situation. He was still an asshole to the entire team and the coach prevented the team from reaching its full potential for 3 years due to nepotism. Complete selfishness on their behalf.
