While I appreciate the effort, it is usually rude to “snipe” a series, especially one that already has a skilled team working on it. There are mountains of groups that need translators and series that need translations, and it’s a shape to waste work like this.

My first thoughts when I saw them were “that’s an interesting choice” rather than “that’s ugly”, that’s to say I don’t mind them. Speaking of, how did you do the effect? My first thought would be to make the stroke into a layer and mask out the part in the bubble, but that seems like a huge pain.
