The Undefeatable Swordsman - Vol. 1 Ch. 50

@Kronous @Thirtyfour A lot of Asian languages lack male or female distinctions for pronouns and a lot of nouns. Using she and empress in previous chapters was likely something on the translator's part rather than something on the character's. Languages don't cleanly translate 1:1 with each...

Rettou Gan no Tensei Majutsushi ~ Shiitagerareta Moto Yuusha wa Mirai no Sekai o Yoyuu de Ikinuku ~ - Vol. 7 Ch. 46

@vodspod That's not the same thing. Fry was in stasis. The protagonist here cast a spell that actually killed himself and constructed a new body 200 years later to transfer his sole into. He did actually reincarnate. Moving between worlds has nothing to do with reincarnation itself, it's just...

The Undefeatable Swordsman - Ch. 43

@boiiyott It’s the classic gambler’s fallacy. The more they’re in the whole, the bigger bets they’re willing to make to recoup their losses. And it’s only reinforced by early successes.

Seirei Gensouki ~Konna Sekai de Deaeta Kimi ni~ - Vol. 6 Ch. 31

@jagfanbb that’s nothing. You ever read Vinland Saga? Pretty sure the prologue was around 50 chapters long. Well worth a read too.

Uragirareta S Rank Boukensha no Ore wa, Aisuru Dorei no Kanojora to Tomoni Dorei dake no Harem Guild o Tsukuru - Vol. 2 Ch. 9 - Overflowing Inside

This wouldn't be the first manga to say some character was never seen again, or two characters would never meet again, only for it to happen later. I'm guessing it's some quirk of Japanese that doesn't really translate well, where that phrasing isn't as absolute in Japanese as it sounds or...

Shoukan sareta Kenja wa Isekai wo Yuku - Vol. 5 Ch. 17

@Serakym The MC did say it was about sending a message. So if the noble does come back, it clearly wasn't a strong enough message and so he should escalate his response. We'll see though.

Isekai Mahou wa Okureteru! - Vol. 5 Ch. 23

@Kisato not entirely. Rajas is still alive, just severely weakened. If I recall, he tells them that Sumei is dead, and then they barely manage to finally kill him after fighting with the wounded Rajas.

Immortal Swordsman In The Reverse World - Ch. 107

@NuclearRouge well, he’s posing as his nonexistent master. Makes sense that a master and disciple would have matching gear.

@Simkin you ever play Sunless Sea? Red honey will do it that to you. It comes from giant bees that harvest dreams to make honey, and it’s used as a narcotic.

    Ouroboros - Vol. 24 Ch. 133 - Circle

@relic626 Eh, I think it was better this way. For all the fucked up shit that happened in this series, the overall tone was never that dark, so having it end with them actually dead would have been a little off. I think it's more fitting that it ends with them giving up on a normal life, rather...

The Magic in this Other World is Too Far Behind! - Vol. 4 Ch. 18

@DexHaunter At some point during this fight in the WN the protagonist realizes what's going on. Essentially, he just needs to use holy magic, and a part of the reason the magic of this world is so inefficient is because all of it has the holy element infused, being blessed by the goddess. So...

    One Punch Man (Webcomic/Original) - Ch. 125

So I'm pretty sure what happened with Siryu is just that Saitama didn't compete in that tournament. The monsterification cells probably didn't happen either. So this Siryu just won the tournament easy (as mentioned in the previous chapter) and didn't have any events to change his character...

Yuukyuu no Gusha Asley no, Kenja no Susume: to, Pochi no Daibouken - Vol. 4 Ch. 21

@Reimos the guy said that was what got him to look into it deeper. He later said it took him two days to find evidence of tampering. So he did find evidence eventually.

@packnerz I'm pretty sure those partitions are actually there a lot of the time. The authors have taken to breaking apart chapters for more frequent releases in whatever magazine it gets published in, but whenever it gets published as a standalone graphic novel, it will be only grouped by chapter.
