I guess if you want an explanation, the problem is that you're mixing tenses. "Seem troubled" is grammatically correct, but it's in present simple tense. Adding the "since", however, turns the sentence into present perfect tense. "You seem troubled today" keeps the whole thing in present simple...

I know I'm repeating myself, but people have been spammed with death threats, rape threats, gore, been doxxed and worse over the most innocuous things. How do y'all find it unrealistic that someone would get suicided baited for stabbing someone?

People get spammed with death threats and "cancelled" for such terrible crimes as liking the "wrong" fictional characters, and yet y'all find it hard to believe someone would get shit for stabbing someone?

It's hard to read, but I do like how the abuse is being handled. None of this "mama has a sad backstory so it excuses everything" or "mama said 'sorry' and is now a completely different person and none of the abuse matters anymore" or "mama's family so you have to forgive all her abuse" bullshit...
