I'm surprised she can even read to begin with. She always bring the kids to play outside because she doesn't know much about the world, so, I assumed she didn't know the written language either. Looks like that isn't the case though.

Weirdly enough, in the novel, he knows he is in love with her from the get go, and his goal is to make her his girlfriend. I'm yet to figure what the point of changing that for the manga was.

I have to say, props to the translator for being able to translate the chant with so much rhythm. I hope the author keeps the chants for magic use. Chantless is cool and all, but something different is good. Then again, if they keep using the same magic over and over, it can get repetitive very...

The barrier scene was very well drawn. It really conveyed the idea of the "air" changing.

@Moonwolf287 I like the different colors, personally. In chapters like this one, it doesn't make much difference, but when there are multiple languages being spoken, it helps a lot to differenciate and get context. I agree that green is a weird choice though. Maybe a different font might work...
