To be real honest, it has good world-building and a good mystery set up. The MC has a brain and lots of generic plot devices are questioned early on/resolved. Every chapter there is progression in the whole "why does everyone die at 20", "who set up these rules" and "how do we stop the curse"...

Finally, some good fucking food (Every chapter is better than the last)
