Unfortunately, you know that doing that will get you in even more trouble. They were already able to convince everyone that he is evil to an unrealistic degree, so they would absolutely be able to twist that as proof of how bad you are.

I just hope this 'revenge story' is of the 'he got revenge by bouncing back from this and becoming happy in spite of their efforts' and not the 'get into another relationship with plan out of a toxic obsession to ruin them for making him suffer' type.

I feel like his home life, as he describes it, isn't legal or acceptable.

For some reason, this gives me Fullmetal Alchemis vibes despite being nothing alike.
