I think that's the crux of the issue here - a lot of Fujiwara's behaviour is overblown for comedic effect. She's not the only one to get this treatment (consider Kaguya's murderous impulses), just the one to get it the most consistently. Otherwise, eh. She's a bit sheltered and light-hearted...
