While the chapter was great from character development standpoint, I'm little lost on what they actually want from Hinako's group. I know they want a 'leader' or at least someone who serves as a role model but they don't clarify how that will pan out. Are they looking to create their own...

But why though? No really, why? why was this the ending? why did the author make this a drama story instead of the joke/comedy story it was? at what point in this manga did the author decide that this was the best ending? I've read like, maybe one story where the yandere gets a happy ending...

Damn that's a harsh ending. Though if i had to bet, chapter 5 would've been a reveal that it was his sister or something (both of them having the same hair colour, neither have a ring on their finger, etc.).
