I don't think it's right treating this as a romance imo... I think it's more of a drama I guess 😓 but I definitely agree with you on the sluggish part especially on some of the earlier pages. With that said, I personally cant see any problems with the ending, as said by a different person here...

I cried at the ending.... 😓 this was super good though, at the start it wasn't all that good? The characters didnt really feel fleshed out and did some weird stuff, but as they got explored more and more it got way better, I'd say. This manga is definitely not perfect but I love it so much nowww...
