Back again for another reread, and I think this might be my only complaint about this story. It's so strange that they never discuss and remove rule 5 at any point in the story. It gives them both so much grief.

This chapter makes me tear up a little more each time I reread. Ruriko gazing at the students mirroring their past selves is so poignant.

Here at the end of another delightful reread. Time to go reread ”Marry a girl friend”.

Wow. That way of reassuring Sakurako so that she knows she isn't being brushed off... I've never seen that before, but I really like it. I think this scene alone pushed this up from a 9 to a 10/10 for me. Incredibly mature and healthy communication.

Oof, I totally get backing off and running away here. She just rocked the boat for the first time in like fifty chapters, and she's afraid of capsizing it by being so direct when Kasumi has clearly felt most comfortable leaving things unspoken. But friendship is a two-way street, and I think...

Awwww, the romantic mood was just right. Kasumi has never seemed big on romance stuff, but it seems she isn't completely aromantic. It's sweet, seeing her so appreciative and happy.

Huh. Kasumi washed out her hair dye. Did the author forget, or did more happen during scrapped in-between chapters?

This is the first time she's so directly talked about not wanting labels for their relationship, but it isn't really the first the topic comes up at all. I sometimes worry about people's reading comprehension when I see how many other commenters cannot wrap their heads around this.
