It might be just me but I never found Japanese stories ever do the whole misunderstanding and regret plot in a satisfying manner. Maybe it is because I have read too many Korean web novels and they pretty much perfected that type of story (although can be over the top sometimes).

I find it quite charming tbh both Will and Elfie are completely obsessed with each other and they don't really care about anything else.

The things done/said by two out of the three heroines isn't even that bad, they are still redeemable so that is why I am not surprised the MC will still interact with them after they cleared up the misunderstanding.

Everything up until chapter 33 or so has been golden but then it is just dragging at this point. Another festival, another I MUST PROVE TO THESE GUYS again just to be with the love of his life.
