i think it was actually for the best that it stayed relatively fluffy and understated. going dark and/or too condemnatory would have been the cliche option if anything. you don't usually see stories deal with legit flawed people with so much compassion and respect, i'm glad this one did...

please be assured i am extremely thankful for your work, there's nothing quite like this work and everytime you release chapters is a godsend

I'm fairly sure the first 8 or 9 pages are out of order and should be at the end of the chapter.
