Why? Why have them, theres very infrequently one that is actually useful. Most explain the first 10 chapters of a manga and ruin pacing, its like watching a movie trailer that spoils the whole premise

I often read mangas with villains accusing people as 'a trash' or a group as 'trashes', I don't really understand why this is a very common translation error and I struggle to see why it is so often used. Is it due to the nature of the language it is translated from or is there another reason?
