It honestly would make sense if Kanetsuna was just giving his own theory on what happened since we know only Junior was close to Yotaka so only he would know why she did him like that whereas Kanetsuna was either indifferent or just didn't care

I can see him having lost his eye during that fight where she was hurt, my working theory is she accidentally took his eye during that fight and retired right after seeing as how being an assassin was taking a toll on her physically and mentally, along with harming someone she cared about.
