I would like it if it was the kind of mysteries you could figure for yourself but the end of each "case" is entertaining enough that I'm okay with it, at least for now.
After the first half of this chapter, I am baffled we don't get a cool Lizzy moment. They set up her training, they get her face to face with a dangerous monster, and then the OP guy comes in and kills it. Cmon.
"We're using slavery as a way to control the masses and stop them from being angry at the current autocratic regime, and more precisely me, the king."
"Oh ok then, nice chat, cool to learn about you!"
Fucking hell MC, what a disgrace.
The artist needs to work on improving his fight scenes. It's all over the place, every panel is weirdly static, there's too many of them to portray what are supposed to be really fast actions, we don't feel the strength of the impact of each of their attacks and the "camera" angles are poorly...
Catching up after a few months and the pacing is still weird. This scene is sooo long compared to the rest of the chapters. Is the writer buying some time because they don't know what to do next? It's kind of funny.
While I wouldn't say no to more of these characters, I feel like this ending is at least fine. I have to agree with people calling it a decent fit for the themes it was trying to convey.
Also, I'd rather that than the series going on for ever until it becomes truly terrible.
So Sedin doesn't really belong in this world and considering how much focus he's getting, it probably means she can take him back when (if) she goes back to her own world.
I can't say I care much about sniping or whatever but the quality is really bad. This needs some serious proof reading. The characters' names change every chapter, if not in the same chapter.
So the cute elf who decides to show herself naked to the MC after knowing him for a day is immediately jealous of some other girl. I expected this kind of trope but the author really wants that wish fulfilment right now!
