Ano Ko wa Kishi - Ch. 5

Hime: I...I don't understand it. I see the way the princess sees. She moves through my body, speaks with my voice. Her memories are invading my mind, her feelings are controlling my life. Will I become her someday? Was I ever even myself to begin with? Momo: Hey guys you gotta try this awesome...
  2. A-Thread-Of-Green

Ano Ko wa Kishi - Ch. 5

I was so ready to make a "Momo is gay for Kishi" comment for most of the chapter, but with that second to last page...I'm not saying it's impossible, but that makes the dynamic at least a little more complicated. Also, with the first page I was like, "Wait, did Hime and Kishi have past lives in...

  4. A-Thread-Of-Green

Ano Ko wa Kishi - Ch. 1

Lots to love here, but I especially love the artistic choice to portray a classmate's shame at making a mistake at dodgeball by showing him eaten alive by antlion larvae. Maybe there's some pun here that doesn't translate, but to me it just reads as a bizarrely specific hyperbole. I love it.

Aru Hi Kareshi ga Onnanoko ni Natteshimata Couple no Nichijou - Ch. 67.5 - I've Fallen in Love With My Sister's Boyfriend

Kinda funny that the little brother insists on calling Subaru "My sister's boyfriend" even when Akane has been so insistent that she's her girlfriend now. IDK, maybe he thinks he can control his feelings by remembering that Subaru used to be a man? If so, doesn't seem to be working all that well.

    Uesugi-kun wa Onnanoko o Yametai - Vol. 5 Ch. 27

Everything else aside, Usegi gets HUGE props for not using AI for the book report. It might've worked, but using it cooks your brain, and I think Usegi has had enough of that.

    Uesugi-kun wa Onnanoko o Yametai - Vol. 4 Ch. 26

Two new translations within three days of each other? Could hardly believe my eyes. Thank you, @valle3011 !

Danshi Kokoseidakedo Gyaru ni TS Shimashita - Ch. 27.2

Same. I was genuinely scared that her safari date would get derailed with unwanted erection jokes. Glad that we can just focus on the romance with Nao.

Danshi Kokoseidakedo Gyaru ni TS Shimashita - Ch. 26.2

I love how the whole setup of the hypnosis made it seems like Jun was gonna turn into a whole different person, but instead, aside from a little more flair than usual, she just spoke her truth and had a good time. Weird and kinky shenanigans about in this story but, at the end, it's all about...

Aru Hi Kareshi ga Onnanoko ni Natteshimata Couple no Nichijou - Ch. 50.5 - Vol 1 Bonus Chapter #2

This chapter is so lovely and sweet! One thing that stands out as a little odd, though, is Akane saying "We used to have that lovey dovey couple feel to us. But now, don't we have the feeling of some friends?" From chapter 0, Akane has shown intense romantic and sexual interest in girl Subaru...

Ore ga Watashi ni Naru made - Ch. 74

I love how the presence of someone with the disease who keeps on living as a boy gives A-chan's choice meaning. So many gender-bender stories leave open the reading that whatever changes their bodies also changes their minds, and any way in which they embrace femininity isn't an authentic...

    Uesugi-kun wa Onnanoko o Yametai - Vol. 4 Ch. 24

I love how, with Usegi's true identity up in the air, both Noelle and Yaemura could claim to be straight, but they both doggedly insist on making their attraction as gay as possible in every way. It does make sense, though, especially in Noelle's case, as she was clearly attracted to Usegi's...

Ore wa Koisuru Onnanoko - Vol. 2 Ch. 5 - Sleepover

To GummyDeino: No need to apologize! The translation felt very natural! As for the story itself, I'm grateful that Kyouko is figuring it out before the halfway point! It's rare to see a genderbend manga with a meaningful reveal that isn't held off until the very end. There's so much to explore...
