You are forgetting Kasen actualy want to get out of the cult before she even met Tetsuo. Other cultists are more than happy to stay in the cult, and as for the hikikomori for example it actually could be a change for a better for him.

Depands on what year the story takes place but as they use modern smartphones I guess it is pretty recent and yes with motion detection you can have months of video records no problem. Also not sure how cabarets works but casinos for example have to have months of records stored by law.

So that weird kid could be some spy of the Kasen side of family to check if Tetsuo is good father or something, that could potencialy save that story arc in my eye.

Come here to say the same thing, I dont really mind part two and did not understand the criticism so far, but this kid really felt like something from DN.
