Very fluffy, last chapter EXTREMELY fluffy. It's uplifting, and for that it can be nothing but praised.

This is basically 'Cautious Hero' but about 500x as wacky. It's fun.

In the narrative world there is a few concepts. In western media it's 'grim dark' - excessive grays and browns, hyper violence and 'no good people' tend to be tropes played out over and over for some bizarre take at 'realism' that drifts into Clockwork Orange levels of stupidity very quickly...

It's a bit of a cliche 'bad ass war veteran who never had a real life goes to school' trope with 'evil nobles' and the like. The art is not bad, the main character doesn't seem inept or naive; has ptsd or some shit though. Overall, it isn't gonna knock your socks off but it's a decent read.

A skeleton main character who is obsessed with a dead woman HOPEFULLY means it isn't a romcom. Two chapters in it's hard to tell; the art is fairly average and the story hasn't moved enough to make a judgement.

It's Gate without any of the annoying 'Modern' anime tropes like Demon Lolis, Ecchi and general 'moe'. Sadly, as a result of lacking those it isn't something I foresee being consistently translated.
