@irumichwaan You should definitely continue. The other scan being uploaded right now is low effort AI slop and a lot of readers (like me) already blocked the uploader.

He is a foreigner (English teacher) and one of the stereotypes for foreigners in Japan is the "loud person that laughs too much".

Sir, a second heroine that can convey her love for the protagonist has hit the romantic comedy.

Hitoe is giving major death flag vibes guys.

well, we got a proposal in game

yeah... but first we will get

She almost tripled her count from the initial episode. Her lead is now because she took the problem children and lead them to victory in the first contest. I think Mimi will keep the lead in fan votes for the entire thing, because she has been stellar on the competition, which will be...

I will miss this.

that was almost a year ago in-universe. that is more than enough time for a disciplined 22 years old to regain all their fitness

I think the novel convey this better. Chinatsu is not embarrassed, at least not in the usual Japanese romcom way girls tend to be embarrassed at the prospect of liking someone. She was more like unsure if Saito actually liked her back and afraid that she was forcing her way into him by...

Besides their shared bond through Take I also believe Spe's overwhelming admiration for Suzuka might come from the fact that Suzuka defeated the two rivals of the Golden Generation that IRL Special Week never managed to defeat: El Condor Pasa and Grass Wonder. See the 1998 Mainichi Okan, the...

It has been dawning on me how fucking tragic is the era covered in Star Blossom. I'm not ready for when the manga starts adapting the 1995 races.

now that's an unexpected turn of events. didn't think the story would go there

the clock is ticking

Because people are stupid? I mean it is a direct callback to the starting gate manga (that is different than the anime). The game main story also start with Oguri's retirement much like how cingray ended, but the game's main story is completely different from both starting gate or the PAWorks...

every single umamusume work has its own continuity. star blossom is its own thing, cingray is its own thing, rttt + bona is its own thing, the anime S1-S3 is its own thing, etc. trying to mix any of these in a single continuity or with the games' story own continuity is a fool's errand.

impressed they could sell how cracked mayano and marvelous will be in this story (considering their IRL performances) in just a single chapter (marvelous' sell was just a throwaway panel to boot)

Without IRL knowledge it is pretty easy to underestimate the two little monsters introduced this chapter.
