    Usogui - Vol. 49 Ch. 539 - Plan A

Damn! I couldn't read this chapter until after I got out of work. And so many comments have been posted too. Anyway, I got to say, this ending was a lot more open ended than I expected. I actually like that. I was worried I'd be disappointed considering how quickly things seemed to be finishing...

Usogui - Vol. 49 Ch. 538 - What Was Coming

Wow, so some of you were right about Baku's weak constitution. I honestly didn't buy it, but I guess I was wrong. Haha A lot to process here. I guess my biggest question would be who actually was that person who flipped the card? Baku didn't seem too surprised, but the others were in total...

    Usogui - Vol. 49 Ch. 537 - The Vices

Dang, I'd be lying if said I wasn't a little bit disappointed with how quickly things seem to be wrapping up. This is all really interesting setup. Would've loved to have a whole arc with Baku as leader furthering his conquests. :(

    Usogui - Vol. 49 Ch. 532 - A Part Of Myself I Still Can't See

Wow, Baku actually pulled it off. So what now? Are we finally going to get some insight on what Baku's goal was with all of this? "World peace" or whatever he said? I honestly haven't the slightest clue where to begin to speculate. Also, how many chapters are left anyway?

Usogui - Vol. 49 Ch. 529 - Howling And Roaring

Wow. Baku's laughter has such a raw, ferocity to the art. And Souichi revival is so eerie looking. If anything, visually, this chapter was a knockout for me. Granted, I don't think anyone is really surprised Souichi's not finished. I'm a little biased towards his character anyway, so I don't...

Usogui - Vol. 48 Ch. 525 - The Second Signal

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't leap seconds announced months in advance? I mean, Souichi would normally take even something so minute into consideration, right? And from the looks of it in this chapter he seemed to have catched on. So is it really just a win through memory loss? Also, I'm...

    Usogui - Vol. 47 Ch. 516 - One Chance

Wow, didn't expect (or more so didn't realize) the sound of the clock was being lowered. Never fails to impress how sharp Baku is to pick up on these things.

Usogui - Vol. 47 Ch. 511 - The Second Death

@belkrax Yeah, it looks like it. Not only that, but one of the panels has guns mounted on the wall, similar to the ones Eba was near when he was preparing to rescue Souichi (ch 322). In fact, now that I looked back at that chapter, Eba is shown looking at a door with a question mark. So like...

    Usogui - Vol. 47 Ch. 506 - The Heart's Sound

A bit off topic, but it's interesting to me how Souichi seems to use (or pretend to use) a rubik's cube as like a tool for concentration, similar to how people IRL (often with some form of disorder) fiddle with objects or devices to help them focus or relieve anxiety/stress. I know this...

Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 504 - What Must Be Avoided At Any Cost

It was kinda obvious, but yeah, I figured Souichi was setting himself up for disappointment. Way too overconfident. He's totally rattled now. Also, I really like that visual representation of Baku with a literal eye in the back of his head. Pretty eerie.

Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 501 - If You Listen Carefully

The cylinder can be emptied if C fails to check, right? So a balancing act between filling the cylinder and and resetting it (using one's body) before both person and/or their cylinder eventually hit a certain threshold? Did I get it? Or am I missing anything? Sometimes I feel like this manga...

Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 500 - Only Through Death

Souichi's pretty confident, or perhaps a bit too confident. I feel like he's setting himself up for disappointment. I mean, I can't see him going through this whole thing without being put under at least once. I wonder how well his psyche would be able to handle that since he's so convinced...

    Usogui - Vol. 46 Ch. 496 - The 1st Near-Death

Souichi definitely trying to put up an air of stoicism and intimidation, but seeing him get slightly unnerved by Baku's smile is telling to me (also a bit amusing).

Usogui - Vol. 45 Ch. 493 - Sound Of Time

Belkrax asked something like this last chapter, but I also have to ask what's stopping the person playing D from just holding onto the handkerchief until the last couple of seconds? Obviously they're obligated to drop it within a minute, but I assume player C will turn around eventually, so if...

Usogui - Vol. 45 Ch. 491 - Squandering And Death

Interesting game. Though, I'm wondering how one actually wins. Is it whoever dies first loses?

Usogui - Vol. 45 Ch. 490 - Within The Passage Of Time

So is this game going to heavily rely on how well you can distract your opponent away from the handkerchief? Seeing as how Yakou relayed something personal to Souichi to catch him off guard, I can only imagine what might ensue with Baku.

Usogui - Vol. 45 Ch. 489 - The Man Standing Between The Two

@Veshv Hard to say. I looked back and it showed the maintenance ending at 6:30, so I'm guessing the overall Protoporos match finished a little afterwards. It also seemed like Kadokura got Souichi and left for stl at 7 (at least he said he would). So I'm assuming it's still the 31st.

Usogui - Vol. 45 Ch. 489 - The Man Standing Between The Two

Yep, to be expected. It would've been weird if Yakou wasn't presiding over this final match.

    Usogui - Vol. 45 Ch. 488 - Absolute Zero

As much as I like Kadokura, I feel Yakou has earned this more. He's put himself on the line to a far greater degree, even now, all to just see this through. I honestly don't think any other referee is as deserving.

    Usogui - Vol. 45 Ch. 486

@herolm Yeah, I completely missed that on my first read through. Only just now noticed it. I was going to mention it too, but you long beat me to the punch. Lol Looks like those theories of Yakou still having a handkerchief were right.
