Dang, I'd be lying if said I wasn't a little bit disappointed with how quickly things seem to be wrapping up. This is all really interesting setup. Would've loved to have a whole arc with Baku as leader furthering his conquests. :(

A bit off topic, but it's interesting to me how Souichi seems to use (or pretend to use) a rubik's cube as like a tool for concentration, similar to how people IRL (often with some form of disorder) fiddle with objects or devices to help them focus or relieve anxiety/stress. I know this...

It was kinda obvious, but yeah, I figured Souichi was setting himself up for disappointment. Way too overconfident. He's totally rattled now. Also, I really like that visual representation of Baku with a literal eye in the back of his head. Pretty eerie.

Souichi's pretty confident, or perhaps a bit too confident. I feel like he's setting himself up for disappointment. I mean, I can't see him going through this whole thing without being put under at least once. I wonder how well his psyche would be able to handle that since he's so convinced...

Souichi definitely trying to put up an air of stoicism and intimidation, but seeing him get slightly unnerved by Baku's smile is telling to me (also a bit amusing).

So is this game going to heavily rely on how well you can distract your opponent away from the handkerchief? Seeing as how Yakou relayed something personal to Souichi to catch him off guard, I can only imagine what might ensue with Baku.

@Veshv Hard to say. I looked back and it showed the maintenance ending at 6:30, so I'm guessing the overall Protoporos match finished a little afterwards. It also seemed like Kadokura got Souichi and left for stl at 7 (at least he said he would). So I'm assuming it's still the 31st.

Yep, to be expected. It would've been weird if Yakou wasn't presiding over this final match.

As much as I like Kadokura, I feel Yakou has earned this more. He's put himself on the line to a far greater degree, even now, all to just see this through. I honestly don't think any other referee is as deserving.
