Not sure why everyone says double play. I think the more obvious thing the author will do is make miyuki's ball get stopped and one of them goes out. Then on the atbat where the team is in deep trouble he'll come through with a better hit. Could even be a homerun.

@Laudulal I'm pretty sure it's because Taira told Kimishita to step it up and become stronger and then he goes and loses before their rematch. I think Kimishita really wanted to prove he was better against Taira after that confrontation.

Wow so it seems Ochiai coach was correct in telling Kuramochi to stop switching. Everyone thought he was being an asshole back then but it turns out all the advice he gave back then ended up helping the team immensely(except for telling Haruichi to switch to metal bat).

Eh at this point its pretty obvious he'll at least be on the bench for the aomori match, so I dont think its a big deal hes left out of other matches. Imo Fukuda needs to speak to Aoi though.
