Y'know, lolibaba feet and nobunaga weren't exactly on my bingo card for this series. Not like that'll stop me from reading more though.
Thanks for the chapter.
Looks like page 10 and 12 are duplicates, as well as page 13 and 15. Comparing to the raws I was able to locate, seems like pages 10 (when they first walk into the guild) and 13 (where the headband guy first speaks) were the ones overwritten.
Happy birthday Dex-chan! Here's to more years of this community sharing and discussing an art form and the culture around it. (I should go catch up on a few Astro King chapters after this)
I've been teaching myself Japanese in recent years, and while it's been a bit slow, I hope to eventually...
That's how you see this ending? Cause to me it looks a bit like they're setting up a kind of rescue arc for these sisters. "We should save her because she hasn't been completely brainwashed," followed by, "I know my sister is still somewhere in there, so we have to save her!"
Then again, maybe...
This is like the old "it's not rape if her eyes have hearts in them" meme being taken to a logical extreme.
Really though, thanks for providing a scanlation of the most sickening chapter of manga I've ever read, and I am including doujin in that consideration.
Anyways, time to catch up with...
This guy can steal bullets from guns accidentally, but not when it's pointed at somebody he cares about? And if that's suppose to somehow be a part of this lady's "countermeasures", then explain how such a thing is actually prevented; what earthly knowledge could they have gained to let them...
Haven't read the LN, so nobody confirm or deny this, but my bet is that Cid/Minoru actually did discover magic before getting isekai'd, and he's the cause of what's become of the world.
@Gauvain glad to see somebody who is level headed and insightful in the comments. This manga definitely has its problems, but the author of the story isn't to blame for how it was adapted. If this scene played out with Esther narrating what she saw in the novel, then that would be effective...

I'm guessing that a witch's knowledge is what causes the curse.
The things we know so far:
• The master seems cursed to see every living thing as a monster.
• Luppie is cursed to be seen as a monster by every living thing.
• Physalis is NOT seen as a monster by the townspeople (unless her...
Fun read, but not as captivating of a story as most of his other stuff, imo. The characters were charming, but it felt like we never really got to properly explore their personalities.
I give it a solid 7/10.
