@Sonaldo They weren't at full speed. They were trying to evade other people and then trying to out do each other. Isagi only seems faster because he's hiding in their blind spots and ran forwards so they had no time to react.

@Sonaldo He didn't move faster. He reacted faster. He figured out where the ball was going to be at a much faster rate than before and as a result, he could place himself in a better place than anyone else.

@TUSF Other Europeans not eating tomatoes isn't that stupid during that time. Tomatoes are actually related to nightshade, so it wasn't that crazy of an idea to think that tomatoes are poisonous. In addition, travel of information took much longer then than it does now.

@WarringChamp It's also a street fight. Not really fair to say it's completely unrealistic when Hoobin started the fight by intentionally stacking the cards in his favor. The series itself points out that he would've instantly lost if his opponent was at full strength.
